2026 Village-Wide Property Revaluation Complete

The Village of Lake Hallie has completed its 2026 revaluation of all real property within the Village. Property owners will soon receive a Notice of Assessment reflecting the estimated market value of their property as of January 1, 2026.

The revaluation was conducted to ensure property assessments are fair, equitable, and aligned with current market values as required by Wisconsin law.

What Property Owners Should Know

The Village's last community-wide revaluation was completed in 2019. As a result, changes reflected on the 2026 assessment notice represent changes in property value over approximately seven years, not just the past year.

Property owners who have questions or concerns about their new assessment are encouraged to first contact Bowmar Appraisal, Inc. Many questions can be answered and concerns addressed by phone or email without the need for an in-person appointment.

Open Book / Informal Hearings

Property owners who would like to meet with an appraiser in person may schedule an appointment during the Village's Open Book:

Wednesday, October 14, 2026
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Lake Hallie Village Hall
By appointment only

Please bring your Notice of Assessment and any information you believe is relevant to your property's value.

To schedule an appointment or discuss your assessment, contact Bowmar Appraisal between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 715-835-1141 or [email protected].

Board of Review

The Village of Lake Hallie Board of Review will be held:

Wednesday, October 28, 2026
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Lake Hallie Village Hall

Property owners considering a formal objection are strongly encouraged to contact Bowmar Appraisal before filing with the Board of Review, as assessment questions or concerns may be resolved during the Open Book process.

Appearances before the Board of Review are by appointment only, and the required objection forms must be filed with the Village Clerk at least 48 hours before the meeting.

The Board of Review is a formal process. Property owners filing an objection must be prepared to present evidence supporting their position that the assessed value is incorrect.

We encourage property owners to review their Notice of Assessment carefully and contact Bowmar Appraisal with any questions as early as possible.
